Well, I couldn't find it. It was one by Og Mandino, one of the most amazing inspirational speakers/authors. I love him. But here's another of my favourites

Every memorable act in the history of the world is a triumph of enthusiasm. Nothing great was ever achieved without it because it gives any challenge or any occupation, no mater how frightening or difficult, a new meaning. Without enthusiasm you are doomed to a life of mediocrity but with it you can accomplish miracles.

This I agree with terribly! We know it's out there and we can do something, so we need to do it!

YES! Agreed agreed agreed! That remindes me of a quote I saw once. It said: the worst thing a good man can do in a bad time is nothing.

Very true! That helps to ground your thoughts, doesn't it?

I learned that courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear. - Nelson Mandela

I think that these are fantastic quotes about courage, because in times of strife, courage is what can change the future. Does anyone else have any more about courage? It's nice to read.

I like that one, greenscene! I have one about courage...

"Without courage, wisdom bears no fruit." - Baltasar Gracian

But I'm not 100% sure that I understand what it means. Anyone care to shed some light on it for me?

Perhaps it has a meaning about wisdom is knowledge, but without having courage in acting out your knowledge you cannot succeed? Something like that?

maybe its just that if you dont have courage to speak out your wisdom stays useless to everyone else as it sits in your head. Kinda what you said Siobhan Marie!

I think to an extent it would also have consideration for individual interpretation - what you think it means to you as well.
