The 2007 International Essay Contest for Young People rewards young people, up to 25 years of age, throughout the world for essays on the theme "The Role of Media and Information and Communication Technologies in Building a Peaceful World." Multiple prizes in 2 age categories - up to 14 years and 15-25 years old - will be given in all but the first-place category. The first-place winner will be invited to Japan to receive the award - travel expenses are paid by the sponsors.

Deadline: June 30 2007
