Oh wow; thats so true! :) I definitely see if that way anyway. I dont know where i'd be without all the beautiful creative things that surround me. Some see it junk; but i see it treasure. If it can help me make someone else smile; or enjoy something simple; its treasure :) Thus; i am interested in recreational/diversional/play/creative art or drama therapy! xo

Hi,
I'm Owen, I'm 19, and I'm studying Software Engineering and Business in Canberra :D
I enjoy arts of all types - I play guitar, sketch a bit, enjoy writing stories, and I also love to dance.

I'm currently covered in mud after doing a kinda backyard blitz on a mate of mine's backyard.... hehehe

Onya SiobhanMarie! I like the way you think. As random as it is, I have a Hulk fist sitting on my bedpost (you know the big green foam ones?). I look at it and think 'power to the people!'. LOL

Yes, I am enjoying it Amie... although at times I regret not doing a more artsy kinda course... I find the biggest challenge is not being able to use the skills I have, but how to put them all to a use.
Tis interesting, because I applied for the world vision youth ambassador role this year, and got through to phone interviews... Afterwards I asked for some feedback and they said that I should become more involved with groups seeking to fight poverty, and that I should reapply next year...
To me, I think it was God pushing me forward. All these things have been in the back of my head, but I hadn't really become involved with any of the groups. I had done things like the face up to poverty challenge... but I hadn't taken a step outside my comfort zone, which I feel God is calling me to do... to use all these talents he has given me.

Hehehe, Sheyla, I didn't use to be arty, I guess because people were always better than me in high school they'd just walk over anything I did... Then in year 9 I taught myself to play guitar, started writing music... I took up drawing during my spare time as I was home schooling myself for year 11/12...
and then this year I figured out I could dance...

Thanks Cailin :D

You sound like a catch! LOL

Stir is a great way to start stepping outside your comfort zone, isn't it? I think it really challenges you to define yourself and your stand on important issues and do more. It also helps to educate and motivate. I'm loving all the awesome stirrers I've met so far! You'll fit right in. And with the number of posts you've been making you'll be 'Stir-fried' in no time! Fantastico. Thumbs Up
